Lemon, Cardamom & Pistachio Gulab Jamun

Gulab jamun is pure indulgence. Soft, milky little balls absolutely soaked in fragrant sugar syrup. I like mine with MORE milk powder and less flour so they stay really soft rather than becoming remotely cakey, then I load the syrup with cardamom and lemon to cut through all that sweetness. Finish with loads of pistachio and these are very, very difficult to stop eating.
